ScriptE for iPad: Credit Scenes Without Logging Shots

1. Why credit scenes without logging shots?

1. If a unit where there was no script supervisor present has shot a scene, for example an establisher, or a stock shot will be used, you can credit the scene manually.

2. Credit the scene

2. Click the 1/8ths Credited button.

3. Click SHOOT DAY.

4. Select which shoot day to credit the scene to.

5. Enter the number of 1/8 to credit and running time as you would when crediting the scene from the production menu.

6. Click ADD.

7. If you have credited all 1/8, ScriptE will ask you if you want to filly credit the scene. Answer yes or no depending on what you want to do.

8. The scene will be credited and added to the DPR for that day. Click DONE to dismiss the window.

3. Make a note to the editor for the REPORT TO EDITOR

9. Make a note to the editor for the REPORT TO EDITOR, so they know why it's been credited without notes from you.

10. Select the ED tab.

11. Click ADD NOTE.

12. Add your notes. Click SAVE.

13. The saved note will be printed on the REPORT TO EDITOR. Ensure that you distribute that report to post.
